Lawrence Pitonza has a BA in Visual Arts from Purchase College. As the Creative Director and an educator on the staff of Country Cures®, a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational corporation, he conducts educational programs with students to build self-esteem and combat bullying. He also trains licensed teachers in children’s literature, as part of their graduate work. He has worked with high profile A-listers in the movie business in Hollywood, creating special effects, costume and mask designs, wig creations, and sets. He wrote and illustrated the “Cosmic Carol: Adventures in Color” multimedia book series (www.CosmicCarol.com). The author/illustrator lives in the greater New York area.
